The firm is organised into four practices, and each answers for its own technical work. Coordinating between them is our responsibility, not yours: what the audit team observes reaches the tax team before an assessment does.
No engagement is quoted as a closed package. It is built from the services you need, and whatever is not engaged is stated in writing as excluded. Tell us about your situation and we will tell you which ones apply.
Tax
Compliance before the DGII, planning within the rules, and defense of the taxpayer. See the practice.
- Monthly tax compliance. IT-1, reports 606, 607, 608 and 609 and the IR-17, with reconciliation of withholdings and a check on electronic invoicing status before filing.
- Annual tax close. Determination of net taxable income, the tax reconciliation and the IR-2 or IR-1 with its schedules, according to the company’s year end.
- Advance payments and recurring obligations. Calculation and management of advances, the assets tax, and tracking of credit balances.
- Related parties and the DIOR. Identifying related-party transactions, preparing the DIOR return and coordinating the transfer pricing study.
- Tax advice and planning. Assessing the tax effect of a business decision in advance, with a written opinion citing the provision relied on. See the page.
- Defense before the tax authority. Answering requests for information, the written response to a notice of adjustment, and the request for reconsideration. See the page.
- Incentive regimes. Formal compliance with the applicable regime: free zones, ProIndustria, tourism, renewable energy.
Accounting and BPO
Your books kept —or reviewed— with how they would have to be defended in mind. See the practice.
- Accounting review. The arrangement most clients choose. You record and we review: classification, supporting documents, consistency with the tax filings and reasonableness of balances, with a report of observations.
- Bookkeeping. Full outsourcing: we receive the documentation, classify, record, reconcile and close, identifying the support at the moment of the entry.
- Bank reconciliations. Reconciliation of each account and clearing of items in transit.
- Financial statements. Prepared under the applicable framework, with notes.
- Payroll and social security. Payroll calculation, employee income tax withholding and contributions, and filing of changes with the social security treasury.
- Accounts payable and treasury. Payment scheduling, supplier control and projected cash flow.
- Catch-up bookkeeping. Reconstruction of overdue periods until the books are current.
Review and bookkeeping are mutually exclusive: either you record and we review, or we record. They cost different things and they are not priced the same.
Audit
An opinion a third party can rely on: the bank, the parent company, the buyer. See the practice.
Provided in association with firms registered with the Dominican Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPARD), under the technical coordination of Hueyi Group.
- Financial statement audit. Audit under the applicable framework, with the report and a management letter.
- Agreed-upon scope review. Procedures defined with you over specific balances or cycles.
- Agreed-upon procedures. Accounting review in transactions: sale or purchase of a shareholding, a new partner coming in, financing.
Corporate and Legal
Your company’s legal form has tax consequences. Here the two are decided together. See the practice.
- Incorporation. Formation and choice of corporate form, with its tax treatment considered from the outset.
- Corporate housekeeping. Shareholder meetings, minutes, amendments to the articles, capital increases and appointments, filed on time.
- Contracts. Drafting and review of commercial, employment and services contracts, with attention to their tax effects.
- Trademarks before ONAPI. Registration and defense of trademarks, trade names and slogans.
